Don’t You Quit

No matter where you find yourself in this season of your life……..Don’t You Quit! Remember that the last leg of any journey always look the longest and feels the hardest. But feelings can become your best friend or your worst enemy. Good feelings will encourage you to press on and keep you hopeful. Negative feelings  will discourage you, steal your joy and remind you of how much further you still have to go!

Sooner or later we must all make a quality decision to overthrow negativity and passivity. There is a biblical principle that tells us how  we can successfully silence the chatter in our head and and stay in peace. Philippians 4:8 (NLT) says,”And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.”

You have to admit that there are definitely a lot of  unsupervised thoughts and ideas flying around in our heads that are not worthy to be mentioned much less talk about. It is time to put our head on notice by putting up ‘A No Fly Zone.’ And after we have disciplined our minds ,we must also become very vigilant about protecting our ear-gate and our heart from other people’s toxic conversations that comes not  to water, but to tear us down, leave us dry and perpetually disturbed.
The journey of life is challenging enough as it is. And you really can’t afford to carry any extra baggages. Learn how to live large but travel light with this 31 Day’s ‘Don’t’ You Quit.’ Devotional Journal.
