His Light

Day # 95: Of My 100 Day’s Challenge of Counting It All Joy.

When life feels like a pressure cooker and I am wondering what on earth is going on, the message bible gives me the perfect answer. Don’t be naive, you are living in difficult times. “But don’t let it faze you.” Stick with what you learned and believed, sure of the integrity of your teachers—why, you took in the sacred Scriptures with your mother’s milk! There’s nothing like the written Word of God for showing you the way to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. Every part of Scripture is God-breathed and useful one way or another—showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes, training us to live God’s way. Through the Word we are put together and shaped up for the tasks God has for us.” 2 Timothy 3:1-5, 14-17 MSG

Today I am Counting It All Joy that God has given me everything that I need to navigate the journey of my life.

       ~His Light~

I don’t have to be afraid,

Or be deceived;

For God has given me His Holy Word,

And I do believe!
I don’t have to walk in the darkness,

For God has given me His light;

So I can live by His daily wisdom,

And endeavor to do what is right!

Day # 94: Of my 100 Day’s Challenge of Counting It All Joy.

I am on Day # 94 of my 100 Day’s Challenge Of Counting It All Joy. I have been challenged. I have been tried, and my faith has truly been tested. But December is a joyful reminder that 2017 is about to come to an end. Hallelujah! My 100 Day’s Challenge is still finding me giving thanks to the Lord for His bountiful blessings and for navigating me and our Nation though a year of unprecedented turmoil.

I am Counting It All Joy for the rising sun, and the mIghty things that God has done. I am thanking Him for the moon and star. But this morning I am making it even more personal by saying thank You Lord, not just for what You do, but for who YOU ARE!

                  ~YOU ARE~

You are El Elyon the most high God,

And as El Shaddai You are the Mighty God.

You are Adonai the great ruler,

And the Holy Ghost is the best tutor.

You are Yahweh, You are Jehovah Lord,

And with you there is nothing that’s too hard!

You are Jehovah Nissi ,

You are my victory;

And Your banner is waving over me.

You are Jehovah Raah, my Good Shepherd,

You are the greatest guide that I have ever  had!

You are Jehovah Rapha ,You are my healer,

And the Holy Spirit is my revealer.
You are Jehovah Shammah, You are always there,

And your Holy presence is always felt so near.

You are Jehovah Tsidkenu, You are my righteousness,

And my sins you forgive them when I confess.

You are Jehovah Jireh, You provide for me,

And all of your blessings I am able to see!

You are Jehovah Shalom, You are my inner peace,

And with confidence I can rise up and lie down at ease!

Count It All Joy is praying for all of the women who have tasted the bitter cup of abuse. Remember this, you no longer have to be muzzled by the bad wolf! For Pandora’s box has now been opened! So take courage. Move forward. Give yourself time to heal. But above all, start creating your own treasure box that is filled with FAITH, HOPE & LOVE!

         ~PANDORA’S BOX~

Somebody has opened Pandora’s box,

And the things that were hidden;

We can’t put them back.
Somebody is calling men to accountability,

For the records are wide opened;

For all to see.
Somebody is calling men,

To take responsibility;

And start treating all women,

With utmost respect and dignity.

Day #93: Of my 100 Day’s Challenge of Counting It All Joy.

I am coming to the end of my 100 Day’s Challenge of Counting It All Joy. I must admit, not everything that has happened has spelled JOY! But Joy is not a feeling. Joy is a gift that always manifest in supernatural strength! And that kind of JOY is only God-Given!

Today I am Counting It All Joy that I can stand humbly yet boldly in God’s Presence, and contend for His promises! For where God has said “YES”, I am going to say AMEN! I am going to say AMEN to all of His promises concerning me and my family. For I declare that His WILL shall be done on earth as it is already established in heaven. AMEN!

Today , I honor my Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus for my life, my family, friends, and the blessings that He daily bestows upon me.

   ~YES & AMEN~

When God’s Word says YES,

He is not talking about creating any MESS!

When God’s Word says YES,

He is really just declaring that I am BLESSED.

When God’s Word says YES,

He is not talking about peddling any STRESS.

When God’s Word says YES,

He is really just reinforcing that I should REST,

When God’s Word say YES,

He is really asking me to stand firm on His promises;

And joyfully overcome  every test!

The Generational Chains Have Fallen.

Day # 92 : Of My 100 days challenge of Counting It All Joy.
Today, I am thankful for my family . I am even more thankful that the generational chains have fallen!

My son has not always understood or agreed with certain critical decisions that I made in my life. Some of those decisions included divorce and sending him away to disciplinary schools. Over the years,I have asked him to forgive me for my  failures and choices  that may have shaped and impacted his life in a negative way. But for the very first time he has touched down on 3/4 of my ancestral homeland of Montserrat that was destroyed by a volcano in 1996. He is in awe of the Island where I grew up. And these are his words. “Yes, it is good that I came. I took that flight in that tiny plane from Antigua. Seeing where you came from and what you did to get where you are in life makes me understand you a lot more!” He was told by those who remembered me about my history and the past atrocities that I suffered at the hands of my father. But today, I am not sad! I am rejoicing over our future! For I believe that the generational chains have fallen! God is restoring me and my family. And most of all, my son will become a better Husband, a better Father, and a better Human Being in society. And for my daughters of destiny, not only will they be a better Mother and Wife, but they will do greater things and continue to write the pages of history for the next generation.

It’s Time To Suit Up.

There is a time to PRAY,
And there is a time to SAY;

But there is a time to COMMAND things,

To get out of the way!

There is a time of PEACE,

And there is a time of WAR;

So you better use your spiritual WEAPONS,

For there is a THIEF at the door.

Whether you believe it or not, there is a real thief that is daily knocking at our door. His name is the devil. He wants to get into the house. He has a plot. It is to kill, steal and destroy. And as we can clearly see he is not even afraid to go into a house of worship. But I am comforted by the words that Jesus spoke to His disciples, “let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” (John 14:27) I am so thankful that the body of Christ is not a building. For the true and living God does not live in a physical building , but in the heart of His people. So even if you destroy the church building or the physical body of a believer, their spirit will live on forever.

It is time to discern the time and season in which we are living. We need more than just eloquent prayers and words of condolences. We need a divine strategy for this critical hour! We must realize that we are not fighting mere mortals! We are fighting the invisible forces of darkness. And no natural weapons can defeat these forces. But God has given every believer an armor to fight and overcome. It is time for us to take a refresher course on the Spiritual Armor of God. It is time to Suit Up! The bible says,  “So take everything the Master has set out for you, well-made weapons of the best materials. And put them to use so you will be able to stand up to everything the Devil throws your way. This is no afternoon athletic contest that we’ll walk away from and forget about in a couple of hours. This is for keeps, a life-or-death fight to the finish against the Devil and all his angels.” Ephesians 6:10-12  “Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it’s all over but the shouting you’ll still be on your feet. Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You’ll need them throughout your life. God’s Word is an indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other’s spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out.” Ephesians 6:13-18 MSG

Don’t You Quit

       👁When I Gazed👁

When I gazed into the eyes of my Majesty,

I say thank You Jesus for the things,

That You have done for me!

I say thank You for dying upon the Cross,

To save such a soul;

That was broken and lost.

I say thank You for my daily provision,

And Your host of angelic protection.

I say thank You for the knowledge,

And wisdom that You give;

And for the Mercy and Grace,

That You grant me to live!

Day #89: Of my 100 Day’s Challenge of Counting It All Joy. Today, I am Counting It All Joy that nothing is impossible with God!

In conversation with someone, I verbalized my desire to achieve a certain GOAL.I was not talking about climbing Mount Everest or running a marathon. I was simply desiring to improve the quality of my life in a certain area. But I was told emphatically, “It can’t be done!” But I say NOTHING is impossible with God. For His strength will always enable me to overcome my weaknesses. This persons negative remark  actually caught me by surprise. But it has also served as a sober reminder that you have to guard your heart from the DREAM KILLERS and NAYSAYERS! They are TOXIC and they are EVERYWHERE!

 ~Nothing Is Impossible~

When somebody tells me,
“It can’t be done!”

I tell them that nothing is impossible under the sun.

For God has already won my victory,

And His Goodness and Mercy;

I know I will see!
When somebody tells me,

“It can’t be done!”

They have given me an incentive,

For the next mile;

That I am getting ready to run.

Day #88: Of my 100Day’s Challenge of Counting It All Joy.

Today, I am revisiting my 100 Day’s challenge of Counting It All Joy. For even in the wilderness and the darkest valley, God has heard and answered my deepest cry. He is so worthy to be praised! He has given me gifts that I haven’t earned. And He has lavished me with things that I don’t deserve!

Lord, I thank You,
For the fresh air;

That I am breathing today.

I so thank You,

For Your promise;

That You will make a way.
Lord, I thank You,

For your Holy presence;

That is always near.

Lord, I so thank You,

For giving me the fruits;

Of answered prayers.
