I am Counting It All Joy this morning because “I Got Up, I’m Still Breathing, I’m Not Bleeding, I’m Not In Pain, I’m in My Right Mind and I Have Peace With God!” I am mindful of the fact that all of this is made possible because JESUS GOT UP from the grave and is now reigning victoriously in my life.

He did not just get up for me or a few…… He got up for all of humanity! SO BELIEVE and RECEIVE THE SON! “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” John 3:16-17 (NKJV). I am sooo………thankful that HE GOT UP! #HappyResurrectionSunday!

Because He GOT UP,

We don’t have to stay down.

And whatever circumstances we are facing,

He can turn it around.

Because HE GOT UP,

We don’t have to stay down;

For He has arisen victoriously-

And given us His crown!

A Life Of Faith.

Day # 63: Of my 100 Days Challenge of Counting It All Joy.

Today I am reminding myself why I can Count It All Joy in spite of what is going on in the world. I am Counting It All Joy because the only Hope that I have in winning the war on evil is trusting God and living a life of Faith!

Lord, let not my ❤️be troubled,
By the evil that I see 👀.

And let me not get caught up in the fight,

But help me to🏃🏿walk daily;

In Your love and Your perfect💡light.

Lord, when I pray let me have what I believe,

And let me not be ignorant or be deceived.

Lord, let me not cast away my confidence,

For You are my Hope and my only strong defense.

I Believe

In July 1995, my birthplace Montserrat became a ghost town after a volcano that was dormant for centuries suddenly erupted and left 3/4 of the Island uninhabitable. As I write this post the island still lays in ruins. But I believe that God in His mercy and His timing is still able to turn devastation into restoration! My prayer today is that God would gather up the fragments of our lives and transform our pain into purpose.

~My Prayer~

Lord, gather up every fragment in my life,
And rebuild the old ruins from the inside out.
Lord, gather up every fragment in my life,
And where there is darkness shed forth Your light.

Lord, gather up every fragment in my life,
And teach me how to trust You but never to strive.
Lord, take away every pain that I have known,
And blend them all together for my earthly gain.

He Is Omnipotent

Day # 30: Today, you can be thankful for the One who will never leave you or forsake you.

One of the characteristics of God is that He is Omnipotent (All Powerful). Yet the greatest question that many struggle with is whether He will use His power on their behalf.
Building confidence in God begins with :
*A child-like trust that simply believe and accept the biblical account of who He says He is.
*Accepting His plan & purpose for your life.
* Having a passion & a determination to pursue it.

Here is a prayer acknowledging who He is and what He does.

~You Are~

Lord, You are the very breath of life within,
And You are the source from which all good begins.
You are the God who never change or fail,
Though the things of beauty will grow frail.

You are the One who daily pours Your grace,
Upon every soul and in every place.
You are the One whose treasures from above,
Falls down upon us in Your love.

You are the One who gives us peaceful rest,
As we journey through the wilderness.
You are the healer of the broken heart,
You are the Mighty God;
How Great thou Art!

You are the Comforter of all man’s woe,
You are the conqueror of every foe.
You are the anchor which we steadfast hold,
You are the name that cause us to stand up bold.

With Him All Things Are Possible !

Day # 19: Today, you can be thankful if you ‘BELIEVE.’

There are many things that we will give thanks for this holiday season. But there is one particular thing that we should be eternally grateful for… And that is the gift of Faith! Here are some of the by- product of living and walking by Faith:
*A~ ngels
*H~ oliness

As we celebrate, let us remember to give thanks for the Angelic Host, and the power of the Holy Ghost. For they are on their post 24/7. And because we BELIEVE, they will forever be our help and our constant companions.

The Gift Of Faith

Day#13: Today, you can be thankful for the Gift of Faith.

There are some not so good things that has happened in all of our lives. But when we look to God in prayer, He will work everything out for our good. Trusting God is a choice. Yes, it takes faith to believe in a God that we cannot see with our natural eyes. But faith is the only thing that pleases God! For Faith believes that God exist and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. I believe, so how about you?

~I Have Faith~

I have Faith in a God that I cannot see,
I have Faith that all things will work out for me.
I have Faith to believe that He will right every wrong,
I have Faith to believe that He will keep me strong.
I have Faith to believe Christ is coming again,
And that in His reign and His kingdom there will be no end.
I have Faith to believe that his Word is enough,
And that in spite of my weaknesses;
I am still a child that He loves!

Don’t You Worry

In the midst of the blame games and threats of government shut-down, you can choose not to worry! For whatever you have need of will be provided. Do not allow fear, anxiety and panic to eat away at your joy and peace. Today, you can choose to believe and trust that God is enough and that everything will be okay!

No Problem

No problem is too difficult,
When you look to God in prayer.
No problem is too difficult,
For the Almighty God to hear.

No problem is too difficult,
When you bow your head and kneel.
No problem is too difficult,
For the Almighty God to heal.

No problem is too difficult,
When you give Him all your fears.
No problem is too difficult,
When you give Him all your cares.

No problem is too difficult,
When you give Him all your doubts.
No problem is too difficult,
For His Almighty power will work
everything out!

It Takes Courage

Courage is the most important of all the virtues, because without courage you can’t practice any other virtue consistently. You can practice any virtue erratically, but nothing consistently without courage.  – Maya Angelou

It is so easy to be inspired when you hear about ordinary people doing great things. But when it comes to facing the challenges of our own life we usually need a double dose of Courage to make it through.

Courage is the ability to disregard fear, and that means-

Taking a leap of faith:

It takes courage to keep on going when you are not feeling your best. It takes courage to keep on giving when you get nothing in return. But no matter what happens each day, we wake up believing that  the sun will shine again.

Faith is in operation every day of our lives. It is a very powerful force, and it has corresponding action. Every day, by faith we are acting on what we believe whether good or bad.

The God-kind of faith is actually the highest form of faith. And it is the one that He rewards most. This kind of faith will require us to leave our Comfort Zone and step out on a limb. But when we choose this level of faith it will Dare us to BELIEVE ~ DREAM BIG ~ and do SOMETHING that we have never done before.

Faith Has A Reward

Reason # 9

You can count it all joy because your faith will be rewarded!

He had no natural reason to believe God for he was a 100 years old and his wife Sarah’s womb was already dead! Yet God gave Abraham a promise that He would give him a son and make him the father of many nations. That promise sounded so ridiculous in the natural that Sarah laughed within herself, saying, “After I have grown old, shall I have pleasure, my Lord being old also?” Genesis 18:12 (NKJV)   Nevertheless, Abraham believed God and the bible said that God rewarded his faith with Isaac the Son of promise.

Has God made any promises to you that make you want to laugh out loud? Listen to His response to Sarah’s question. “And the Lord said to Abraham, Why did Sarah laugh, saying shall I surely bear a child, since I am old? Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time, I will return to you, According to the time of life and Sarah shall have a son. (Genesis 18:13-14)

God has an appointed time to bring to pass His promises in your life. So do not focus on the barren areas that you see. While you are waiting on your promise to be fulfilled continue to obey Him in the big as well as the little things. Below are a few do’s and don’t that will help you as you wait.

Live from your spiritual position and not your natural condition:

  • Do not focus on what your five senses tell you.
  • Read, study, meditate and confess the Word of God as truth.
  • Refuse to let fear, doubt and unbelief rob you of God’s greater blessings
  • Instead of complaining, honor God by praising Him for His Love, grace, mercy, goodness and faithfulness.
  • Above all, wait upon the Lord and be fully persuaded that in due time, He will deliver on His promises just like He did for Abraham who is the Father of our faith.
