He Is Reigning With Power.

At Count It All Joy we are remembering  Jesus Life, Suffering, Death, Burial, and Glorious Resurrection.We are reminded of the fact that there was never any fault found in Him. Yet He was willing to hang on a Cross for our sake!  We are eternally grateful that God placed on His Son the penalty that we deserved for every wrong that we have done and every wrong that has ever been done to us.  “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” II Corinthians 5:21 (NKJVI)

We are thankful that He Got Up, so we don’t ever have to stay down!

        ~JESUS~

Jesus is not in a manger,
Trying to hide from some danger.

He is not just on a cross,

Looking down at the lost;
Jesus is not in the tomb,

For there was not enough room;

To hold Him in the grave.
Jesus is the man of the hour,

For He is still reigning with power.

So look to the horizon,

For it is beginning to shower!

I AM AMAZED.

Day # 81: Of my 100 Days Challenge of Counting It All Joy.

After I committed to take this 100 Days Challenge of Counting It All Joy, I wanted to put my foot in my mouth and leave it there! For within that period of time it seemed that I had more reasons to cry than I did to rejoice! However, I am now 3/4 of the way in fulfilling my challenge. But as I look back over my life, I am amazed at how God took a broken girl from a remote land,  groomed her and  gave her an identity and a purpose. He has given me His love without reserved and He has blessed me with gifts that I have not earned. I am amazed by His willingness to lay down His life for fallen humanity. I am amazed that we can enjoy the life and breath that He gives and still deny His existence! I am even more amazed that He still shows His love and mercy to those who openly blaspheme His name and deny His existence.

During this season of LENT, Romans 5: 7-8 (NLT) is a sober reminder of Jesus Life, Suffering, Death, Burial, and Resurrection. “Now, most people would not be willing to die for an upright person, though someone might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is especially good. But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.” (Romans 5:7-8 NLT).  The only  reasonable response from this grateful heart and Count It All Joy Inspirational Company during LENT is thank you Lord for your sacrifice!

  ~From The Cross~

From the Cross,
We can experience Pentecost.

For it brought Hope for the wounded,

And Salvation for the lost.

From the Cross,

We have total Victory,

Because Jesus shed His blood;

For you and me!

March Into Lent.

LENT is a time of prayer, fasting and repentance. It is a time for reflection on Jesus life, sacrifice,death, burial and resurrection. It is a time to take inventory of the life and the gifts that He has allotted to us. Above all, it is a time to renew our faith and our commitment to serve the One who willingly laid down His life for all of humanity.

            ~LENT~

Let us march into Lent,

And take time to give Thanks.

Let us March into Lent,

And take time to Repent.
Let us March into Lent,

And make a choice to forgive;

For faith, hope and love,

Is the only way to live!
Let us March into Lent,

And get ready for spring;

As we give honor unto Jesus,

Our true Savior and King!

Will You?

When God calls us from our comfort zone, some will refuse to answer. And many who have answered will abandon the call because they are counting the cost. For the greater call will always require greater Service,Commitment and Sacrifice. But when we pause and consider what Christ has accomplished for us through His death, burial and resurrection, our reasonable response is to humbly say “Yes Lord.” For what we give up in this life for Him will never be greater than the life that He gave up for us. Selah!

When God comes knocking on the door of our heart, we can either resist Him or do as the Apostle Paul did. “And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.” Acts 9:6 KJV

No one knows when God is going to call or apprehend them on the road to Damascus! However when He does, there are a few compelling questions that He will require each and everyone of us to answer.

                     ~Will You~

Will you lay down your life to follow after me?
Will you pay the price to fulfill your divine destiny?

Will you lay down your life to follow after me?

Will you love the ones who have hurt and offended you?

Will you pay the price to die to yourself,

Will you live by your faith and not by your flesh?

Will you lay down your life to follow after me,

Will you walk by my Word and not what you see?

Will you lay down your life to follow after me,

Will you set the ones who are wounded and captive free?

Will you lay down your life to follow after me,

Will you cry out for the eyes of all nations to see?

Will you lay down your life to follow after me,

Will you be the vessel of honor that I’ve called you to be?
