The words of the American Constitution are beautiful when read in it’s unvarnished state. “We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness-”

LOVE ONE ANOTHER.

Everyday of our lives we are sowing seeds that will eventually grow up and reap a harvest. It is that old principle called sowing and reaping! That principle will work for the good as well as the bad. Interestingly, we are daily speaking negative words and entertaining evil deeds without ever considering their impact.

The only way that we can ever ensure a good crop is to always speak life and sow seeds of GOODNESS. The GREATEST seed that we can ever sow to mankind is the seed of LOVE! For when we choose the path of love, hate looses its power. 

As we approach this thanksgiving season let us plant the seed of love. We may not always agree with one another, but we can always choose to follow heaven’s simple command which is to love one another.

Lay Aside The Weights.

Some weights that you are carrying are not of your own making. They were picked up because of your desire to show compassion and do good. Unfortunately, the beneficiaries of your kindness have moved on to higher grounds. And yes, they are oblivious to the fact that they have left you with scars and wounds that only your Creator can heal. The end result is they have tripped you up and hindered you from running your life race. 
Jesus is the only one I know who successfully ran His race with the weight of the world upon His shoulders and rose up victoriously! His word of advice for today is “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne. Think of all the hostility he endured from sinful people; then you won’t become weary and give up. After all, you have not yet given your lives in your struggle against sin. Hebrews 12:1-4 NLT

Jesus is not insensitive to your pain. He is your burden bearer. However, He is saying loud and clear that it is time to lay aside the weights and move forward.

Moving forward means:

*Forgiving yourself for been deceived.
*Forgiving those who have wounded you.

*Asking God to restore your soul and put you back on his original path and timetable.

It also means:

*Watching your associations.

*Detoxing your mindset & thoughts patterns.

*Watching over your conversations and making positive confessions. 

*Getting a heavenly perspective of your circumstances.

*But above all, it means making a decision to stop bleeding over the bygone years.

*It is time to tell your betrayers, “You Tried To Sting Me, but I didn’t feel that!

Day # 51 : Of 100 Days Of Counting It All Joy.

Today I am Counting It All Joy because I can use my power to do GOOD.

I choose to do right instead of wrong. I choose to pursue peace instead of war. But above all I choose to show LOVE instead of HATE. For every time I choose the path of LOVE, HATE loses its power!

     

       ~Seeds of Goodness~

Let us plant seeds of goodness,

And watch as they grow;

For they’ll soon spring up before you know.

Let us start out with love for everyone,

Never counting the score for the wrongs they have done.

Let us add in an element of joy,

Instead of a desire to hurt and destroy .

Let us offer up peace instead of war,

In the midst of life’s conflicts and uproar.

Let us exercise patience through the storm,

Always seeking to lend an extended arm.

Day # 47: Of 100 Days Of Counting It All Joy.

Not everything that has happened in my life can be call good! But I serve a GOOD GOD! And I am convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that He is for me and never against me. God is the Creator of every good and perfect gift. Nature testifies to the very fact that He is real. Every time I look at the moon and the stars I marvel at His creation and His existence. I marvel because He is all KNOWING He is all POWERFUL and His Spirit is PRESENT in all places and at all times. 

Today, I am Counting It All Joy because God is for me and He is with me where ever I go.

Day # 17: Of 100 Days Of Counting It All Joy.

I can Count It All Joy because God has blessed us to be a blessing.
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10 NKJV
We were created to do good works, but never in our own strength and ability. For every good and perfect gift comes down from the Greater One above! Daily He blesses us with gifts that we have not earned and do not deserve. However, when we work together our gifts can compliment one another and work for the good of Society. Stop Tripping And Start Sipping

The weather may be cold outside but you can always find an inexpensive way to cuddle up and stay warm on the inside. Tea time is the perfect me time when you can give yourself permission to ‘Do Nothing’ except Relax!  It may just be Tea- Time for you…. ‘IF’

Do What Is Right.

Some people are more bent on doing evil than doing good.They seem to have a conscience that excuses them instead of convicting their wrong behavior. Their daily thoughtless words and deeds have no boundaries, or feelings of remorse. This kind of abuse can be difficult to endure on a day to day basis without becoming angry and frustrated. However, we can still choose to do right in the midst of wrong knowing that there is an ultimate reward, because someone greater than ourselves is watching and keeping the books. There are two encouraging verses that speaks to this dilemma. Psalm 84:11 NLT says” For the LORD God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The LORD will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right. Then Proverbs 3:5-6 NLT says when we see wrong to “Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.” #LearnHowToTakeGod’sWayOfEscape!

A Message Of Hope.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11) NLT

When we reflect back over our lives we can see some not so good things that has happened. However, we can choose to remain prayerful and hopeful that God in His infinite Love and Mercy will take every bad and ugly thing and transform them into something more glorious than we could ever think or imagine!

We must be determined to daily separate the Precious from the worthless. We must remain thankful for not just the big but the little things in life. And as we continue to stay true to God’s Word and our passion we will find that we are becoming our most Creative and Purposeful self!

Today, I pray that the only prison that you choose to live in be the one of hope. For Proverbs the great book of wisdom says, “Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a dream fulfilled is a tree of life.”(Proverbs 13:12) NLT. So keep your hope alive. And remember that in spite of the negative things that life may have thrown your way, God’s plan for you will always be a good one!
