ENOUGH is ENOUGH.

Lord, we are living daily in a hostile environment. I am so tired of HEARING and SEEING evil all around me. I have had ENOUGH of our frail humanity! Lord, I need to SEE more of Your MIGHTY POWER. I need to SEE your HANDS! Lord, I am crying out for HELP! For, “You are My battle-ax and weapons of war: For with you I will break the nation in pieces; With you I will destroy kingdoms; With you I will break in pieces the horse and its rider; With you I will break in pieces the chariot and its rider;”Jeremiah 51:20-21 NKJV.

            ~NOW LORD~

Now Lord, let me see Your Mighty power,

In this dispensation and this critical hour.

Lord, let me see your outstretched hands,

And destroy every work;

That is not part of your plans.

Lord, let me see your amazing grace,

And give me the courage to endure;

And stay strong in the race.

Don’t Lose Your Head.

Day # 84: Of my 100 Day’s Challenge of Counting It All Joy.

The only crown that I desire is the crown of wisdom. For Godly wisdom will preserve me and protect my brain from the mental assaults and challenges of everyday living. The book of Proverbs says that we are to “Get wisdom! Get understanding! Do not forget, nor turn away from the words of my mouth. Do not forsake her, and she will preserve you; Love her, and she will keep you. Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding. Exalt her, and she will promote you; She will bring you honor, when you embrace her. She will place on your head an ornament of grace; A crown of glory she will deliver to you.” Proverbs 4:5-9 NKJV

Today, I am getting the best workout for free! I am embracing wisdom and I am refusing to let anybody crown me and cause me to lose my head!

               ~ Do Not~

Do not let anybody crown you,
And try to mess with your brain.

For they will give you accolades in the sunshine,

Then leave you drowning in the rain.

Do not let anybody entice you,

With their smile and their flattering words.

For you will give them the power to hurt you,

And the right to humiliate and demote you.

The Fruit Of The Spirit.

We are constantly sowing seeds whether good or bad! But the most fruitful and lasting seed that we can sow is the fruit of the spirit. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.” Galatians 5:22-23 NKJV.

During this season of Lent, I am especially thankful for Jesus sacrifice! I am thankful for His Love and Forgiveness. I am dedicating myself anew to His purpose and calling. I am choosing to grow up spiritually because no law can legislate that! I am thankful for the gift of creative writing which can be viewed  @  www.count- it-joy.com or Amizon. As I move forward in my walk of faith, I am believing God for advancement and more  of His luscious fruits in my life. #WhatAreYouBelievingFor?

                                             🍇THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT🍇

Let LOVE be your COVERING,

And JOY be your STRENGTH.

Let PEACE rule your HEART,

And let PATIENCE be a part.
Have a tongue that speaks KINDNESS,

And always seek to do GOODNESS.

Offer GRACE and FORGIVENESS,

And be a person that is known;

For your FAITHFULNESS.
Let your hands be an extension of GENTLENESS,

And impart a blessing,

For you have been blessed.

No longer be entangled with the issues of old,

For you have been given the power of self-control.

A Tribute To First Lady Michelle Obama:

First Lady, you held your head high,

And you walked with such grace.

You always spoke a kind word,

And a genuine smile was upon your face.
The style that you’ve exhibited was always impeccable,

And the display of your humility was just so incredible.

You demonstrated that mediocrity must never be acceptable,

And you gave hope to so many women;

That nothing is impossible!
You have fought hard for the hidden daughters of destiny,

And your name will go down through the pages of history.

Your speech to go High when they choose to go low,

Is one that will be remembered wherever we go.

I Am Looking Back At Calvary.

The Apostle Paul said, “Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13-14 NKJV

I too believe in pressing forward for the upward calling. But today, I am compelled to pause for a moment to look back over my life and humbly thank The Lord for what He has accomplished at the Cross of Calvary. I am thankful for all of the gifts that He has given to me. But above all, I pray that I would to be a good steward of His manifold grace. (1Peter 4:10) I pray that as I reach forward to the things ahead, that my life would continue to bring honor to Him and a blessing to Society.

           ~I Am Looking Back~

Lord, today I am looking back at Calvary,

As a reminder of the Blood;

That You shed there for me.

Lord, I am looking back at Calvary,

As a reminder that Your body was broken for me.

Lord, I am looking back at Calvary,

As a reminder of the great price;

That You paid there for me.

Lord, I am looking back at Your nailed pierced hands,

To grasp the power of Your righteousness;

In which I now stand.

Lord, I am looking back at Calvary,

For it is a sobering reminder;

That you hung there for me!

I CHOOSE TO FORGIVE.

DAY # 64:
I am back on my 100 Days challenge of Counting It All Joy. Today I am Counting It All Joy because I am reminded that I have received the free gift of forgiveness and therefore I am choosing to keep walking in love and forgive.

                ~We Have All~

We have all experienced the great fall of humanity,

And we have all been stung;

By old patterns and behaviors of insanity.

We have all been stung,

By the venom of pain and regret ;

And we all have some wants,

That has not yet been met.

We have all felt the piercing wounds of our fellowman,

But by God’s grace we are still here;

And we are able to stand!

We have all been forgiven,

And we must choose to forgive;

For carrying the weight of the past on your shoulders,

Is a terrible way to live!

Day #27: Of 100 Days Of CountingIt All Joy.

I can Count It All Joy because I know that God watches over me.

            ~His Eyes Are~

His eyes are always watching me,

For His love and grace ;

I can daily see!
His eyes are always watching me,

For through rain or shine;

He keeps leading me.

Day # 22: Of 100 Days Of Counting It All Joy.

I can Count It All Joy because even on a dark night there was light on my path!

~There Will Always~

There will always be light,

On the path where He leads.

There will always be provision,

To meet every need.
There will always be peace,

In the midst of the storm;

There will always be strength,

And the grace to go on.
There will always be laughter,

Where once was a frown.

For the Holy Ghost will Pick me Up,

Whenever I feel down!

Day #20: Of 100 Days Of Counting It All Joy.

WOW! It is Day # 20 and I am still counting my 100 Days  of 100 Ways to Count It All Joy!

I can Count It All Joy because I get to spend quality time with the The Greatest Quest!

In the hustle and bustle of everyday life, there is hardly any time for quiet time with God. It is vital to our spiritual, physical and emotional wellbeing that we come apart from the daily distractions of life to fellowship with God and receive the strength, wisdom and grace that we need to run our race and finish our course.

~ A Room For God~

I am building me a room for God,

And I am giving Him daily;

Everything that I have.
I am building me a room for God,

And with a grateful  heart;

And my hands upraised-

I am offering Him the sacrifice of praise.

I am building me a room for God,

And I am receiving comfort;

From His staff and rod.
I am building me a room for God,

For He is the Greatest Guest;

That I will ever have.

Day # 9: Of 100 Days Of Counting It All Joy.

I will Count It All Joy because He has given me the wings of an eagle.

  ~ For Every Valley~

For every valley that I have gone through,

I was on my journey to the mountaintop.

For every tear that I have shed in pain,

His joy has risen in me again.

For every brokenness that I have endured,

Just like the eagle;

I was able to soar.

And for every heartache that I have ever known,

Through it all by His grace;

 I have truly grown!
