He Saved Me.

I remember when my night was so dark and I had no light for the day. But just before hopelessness tried to engulfed me….. Jesus reached out His hands and saved me from the pit. “Christ arrives right on time to make this happen. He didn’t, and doesn’t, wait for us to get ready. He presented himself for this sacrificial death when we were far too weak and rebellious to do anything to get ourselves ready. And even if we hadn’t been so weak, we wouldn’t have known what to do anyway. We can understand someone dying for a person worth dying for, and we can understand how someone good and noble could inspire us to selfless sacrifice. But God put his love on the line for us by offering his Son in sacrificial death while we were of no use whatever to him.” Romans‬ ‭5:6-8‬ ‭MSG‬‬

I am humbled by Jesus love and His selfless act! I honor and celebrate His glorious resurrection. Because He got up I don’t ever have to stay down! And what ever circumstances that I encounter in this life … I know that He will always turn it around.

     ~I Am Thankful~

I am thankful for the little things,
And the ray of Sunshine ;

That life brings.

I am thankful for the rising sun,

And the Mighty Things;

That God has done.

I am thankful for His protection,

And His daily source of provision.

I am thankful for the Throne of grace,

Where I can daily meet with my Savior;

Face to Face!

He Is Reigning With Power.

At Count It All Joy we are remembering  Jesus Life, Suffering, Death, Burial, and Glorious Resurrection.We are reminded of the fact that there was never any fault found in Him. Yet He was willing to hang on a Cross for our sake!  We are eternally grateful that God placed on His Son the penalty that we deserved for every wrong that we have done and every wrong that has ever been done to us.  “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” II Corinthians 5:21 (NKJVI)

We are thankful that He Got Up, so we don’t ever have to stay down!

Jesus is not in a manger,
Trying to hide from some danger.

He is not just on a cross,

Looking down at the lost;
Jesus is not in the tomb,

For there was not enough room;

To hold Him in the grave.
Jesus is the man of the hour,

For He is still reigning with power.

So look to the horizon,

For it is beginning to shower!

Count Your Blessings

Day # 22: Today, you can be thankful for the little things.

In life we tend to spend more time focusing on what we don’t have instead of appreciating the little things that we do have. I grew up on a tiny Island in the Caribbean under very poor social and economical conditions. The only food that we consumed was what we planted. All we ever knew was the hard physical labor of daily working in the fields. We had no refrigerator or electricity.We had to walk barefoot for miles and miles to fetch one bucket of water. And we had to leave our little broken down shack to go to the latrine( a hole in the ground) My tiny island in Montserrat still remains a Ghost Town from the devastating volcano eruption in 1996.Yet, the most important lessons that we were taught as a child was to HONOR GOD, BE THANKFUL and BE RESPECTFUL to others. Today, these lessons are still serving me very well. I am counting my blessings and #IAmForeverGrateful!

Day # 19: Today, you can be thankful if you ‘BELIEVE.’

There are many things that we will give thanks for this holiday season. But there is one particular thing that we should be eternally grateful for… And that is the gift of Faith! Here are some of the by- product of living and walking by Faith:
*A~ ngels
*H~ oliness

As we celebrate, let us remember to give thanks for the Angelic Host, and the power of the Holy Ghost. For they are on their post 24/7. And because we BELIEVE, they will forever be our help and our constant companions.

Winter Won’t Last Forever

Day #9: Today, you can be thankful that winter won’t last Forever.

The changing of the seasons can actually be a helpful reminder that nothing last forever! Even though the flowers and leaves are fading,we have an expectation that they will surely bloom again! It is a fact that the weather is getting colder on the outside! Yet we do believe that winter will soon pass and the sun will shine again.So let us remember that we can weather the storm by maintaining a grateful heart and positive affirmations.Doing so will keep us warm and produce a double dose of tranquility within our soul. And in the meantime let us hope that old man winter will soon catch up with good time summer!

Here is a poem of encouragement to help you start your day!

~I Tell God~

I tell God each day when I start,
How much I thank Him from my heart.
I thank Him for His endless love,
That He has bestowed to me from above.
I thank Him for His precious Son,
And for the race that He helps me to run.
I thank Him for the comforter,
That soothes my heart like no other.
I thank Him that He understands,
And for always stretching out His hands.
I am thankful that He fights my fears,
As He walks with me through all of my tears.
I thank Him that through every tide,
He is always present at my side.
I am thankful that He won’t let me go,
When I stumble and I feel so low.
I thank Him that He is forevermore,
The strength through which I can endure.
