A Time.

We do not have to look too far to see and hear that this world is in great turmoil.

The daily conversations and breaking headline news is enough to leave us feeling emotionally drained, helpless and hopeless. But our true strength, provision and protection does not come from man. It comes from the One who created the universe, put the stars in place and gave us life! The word of The Almighty declares that, “No king is saved by the multitude of an army; A mighty man is not delivered by great strength. A horse is a vain hope for safety; Neither shall it deliver any by its great strength. Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear Him, On those who hope in His mercy, To deliver their soul from death, And to keep them alive in famine.” Psalms 33:16-19 NKJV.

This is a time for reflection! It is a time to repent! It is a time to look into the Eyes of Perfect Love and ask for mercy! http://www.xulonpress.com/bookstore/bookdetail.php?PB_ISBN=9781498488341&HC_ISBN=

It is a time to take inventory of our lives and acknowledge that it is not our military strength, money, education, or any social status that is going to save us. #Jesus saves! John 3:16

                ~A TIME~

It’s a time to review the beatitudes,
It’s a time to form some new attitudes.

It’s a time to change from what’s bad to good,

It’s a time to do what you know you should.

It’s a time to lay aside the heavy weights,

It’s a time to chose Christ,

And the narrow gate.

The Gifts And Calling.

Day # 85: Of my 100 Day’s Challenge of Counting It All Joy.

Today I am Counting It All Joy for the gifts and calling of God. I am thankful that He never withhold or recall His gifts. I Pray that I would be faithful to His call and continue to be a good steward of His manifold gifts. I pray that my life would truly be a reflection of His character and His glory in the earth.

     ~HE IS~

He is the cup,
That is overflowing.

He is the love,

That just keep on growing.
He is the hand,

That is always extended.

He is the One

Who rose up and ascended.
He is the hope,

For a brighter tomorrow.

He is the One who adds wealth ,

With no sorrow!

March Into Lent.

LENT is a time of prayer, fasting and repentance. It is a time for reflection on Jesus life, sacrifice,death, burial and resurrection. It is a time to take inventory of the life and the gifts that He has allotted to us. Above all, it is a time to renew our faith and our commitment to serve the One who willingly laid down His life for all of humanity.

            ~LENT~

Let us march into Lent,

And take time to give Thanks.

Let us March into Lent,

And take time to Repent.
Let us March into Lent,

And make a choice to forgive;

For faith, hope and love,

Is the only way to live!
Let us March into Lent,

And get ready for spring;

As we give honor unto Jesus,

Our true Savior and King!

Day # 34:Of 100 Days Of Counting It All Joy.

I can Count It All Joy because I have a Quiet Zone where I can snuggle up for Tea Time and an Inspirational Book.

That place is the sanctuary that I have created for Daily prayer, Quiet reflection, reading, meditation and journaling. This is the best stress therapy that I know. It is not only a great way for me to unwind from the activities of the day but to seek for Godly wisdom for daily living.

            ~Quiet My Soul~

Lord, quiet my soul as I come to Your Throne,

And silent the thoughts;

That are not of Your own.

Lord, quiet my soul as I come to Your Throne,

And teach me the precepts that I need to learn.

Lord, quiet my soul and let me be filled,

With a passion to serve You;

And accomplish Your will.

Inner Peace

Day# 4: Today, you can be thankful for inner peace.

Even in the hustle and bustle of the holiday seasons you can still have joy and peace. Thankfully that state of being is not dependent on any outward circumstances. It is an inner stability that is God- given. And the best way to maintain that tranquility is to take time :
*For daily prayer and quiet reflection
*To count your blessings
* And to be a blessing

Make this your prayer for today:

~Quiet My Soul~

Lord, quiet my soul as I come to Your Throne,
And silent the thoughts;
That are not of Your own.

Lord, quiet my soul as I come to Your Throne,
And teach me the precepts that I need to learn.
Lord, quiet my soul and let me be filled,
With a passion to serve You;
And accomplish Your will.

Devotional Challenge

In our fast paced society  people often have no time for quiet reflection. Our lives are spinning out of control as we attempt to balance our schedules and the demands of everyday life! There is a great need for balance.

Count it all joy has been on a series looking at the many ways that we can count it all joy. Today, I would like to introduce you to a product from our devotional  line  called The Quiet Time Companion. This 31 day devotional  journal is designed to help you in your spiritual growth and development. Part of that journey includes setting aside time for fun activities, reading the bible, studying and journaling.

Journaling  provides  an opportunity to pour your heart out on paper without any fear or inhibition. It is  a great way to unload. Above all it can help you to write the vision for your life and chart the progress.

The 31 day Quiet Companion begins with:

*A personal poem

* A thought for reflection

* A scripture

* Space to write your own personal  thoughts.

I charge everyone to take the next  31 days  to meditate, pray and  write the things that come into your heart and see if it does not change your life. At the end of 31 days I would like you to come back to this blog and share how this experience has changed your life for the better.

Blessings,

Joyce
