God Is Greater.

Sometimes when I am feeling  abuse and oppress  I am so tempted to slap a few people just before I throw in the towel! But suddenly I snap back into reality when I remember Jesus and His selfless sacrifice.

Today, I am choosing to Count It All Joy and magnify God above my thoughts, feelings and emotions. For I acknowledge that He is greater than the challenges that I face from day to day. He is greater than any accusation. He is my light and my salvation. He is greater than any offense. He is my Rock and He is my strong defense. Today, I am holding fast to my confession of faith in God’s beautiful promises concerning me and my children.“ This exile is just like the days of Noah for me: I promised then that the waters of Noah would never again flood the earth. I’m promising now no more anger, no more dressing you down. For even if the mountains walk away and the hills fall to pieces, My love won’t walk away from you, my covenant commitment of peace won’t fall apart.” The GOD who has compassion on you says so.
“Afflicted city, storm-battered, unpitied: I’m about to rebuild you with stones of turquoise, Lay your foundations with sapphires, construct your towers with rubies, Your gates with jewels, and all your walls with precious stones. All your children will have GOD for their teacher— what a mentor for your children! You’ll be built solid, grounded in righteousness, far from any trouble—nothing to fear! far from terror—it won’t even come close! If anyone attacks you, don’t for a moment suppose that I sent them, And if any should attack, nothing will come of it. I create the blacksmith who fires up his forge and makes a weapon designed to kill. I also create the destroyer— but no weapon that can hurt you has ever been forged. Any accuser who takes you to court will be dismissed as a liar. This is what GOD ’s servants can expect. I’ll see to it that everything works out for the best.” GOD ’s Decree.” Isaiah‬ ‭54:9-17‬ ‭MSG‬‬

He Is Reigning With Power.

At Count It All Joy we are remembering  Jesus Life, Suffering, Death, Burial, and Glorious Resurrection.We are reminded of the fact that there was never any fault found in Him. Yet He was willing to hang on a Cross for our sake!  We are eternally grateful that God placed on His Son the penalty that we deserved for every wrong that we have done and every wrong that has ever been done to us.  “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” II Corinthians 5:21 (NKJVI)

We are thankful that He Got Up, so we don’t ever have to stay down!

Jesus is not in a manger,
Trying to hide from some danger.

He is not just on a cross,

Looking down at the lost;
Jesus is not in the tomb,

For there was not enough room;

To hold Him in the grave.
Jesus is the man of the hour,

For He is still reigning with power.

So look to the horizon,

For it is beginning to shower!

I Am Looking Back At Calvary.

The Apostle Paul said, “Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13-14 NKJV

I too believe in pressing forward for the upward calling. But today, I am compelled to pause for a moment to look back over my life and humbly thank The Lord for what He has accomplished at the Cross of Calvary. I am thankful for all of the gifts that He has given to me. But above all, I pray that I would to be a good steward of His manifold grace. (1Peter 4:10) I pray that as I reach forward to the things ahead, that my life would continue to bring honor to Him and a blessing to Society.

           ~I Am Looking Back~

Lord, today I am looking back at Calvary,

As a reminder of the Blood;

That You shed there for me.

Lord, I am looking back at Calvary,

As a reminder that Your body was broken for me.

Lord, I am looking back at Calvary,

As a reminder of the great price;

That You paid there for me.

Lord, I am looking back at Your nailed pierced hands,

To grasp the power of Your righteousness;

In which I now stand.

Lord, I am looking back at Calvary,

For it is a sobering reminder;

That you hung there for me!

Day # 12: Of 100 Days Of Counting bIt All Joy.

This Sassy Bee is Counting It All Joy because many weapons were formed, but they did not prosper!

“No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the LORD.” Isaiah 54:17 NKJV

    ~I Won The War~

Yes, I have fought a few battles,

But I won the war;

And I found myself in love with Jesus more!

I had a few questions,

And I fought through some doubts;

But ultimately My Savior has worked everything out.

I had a few laughs,

And I did shed some tears;

But the Good shepherd of this sheep,

Has always been there!

I had a few disappointments,

And I did feel some pain;

But it has only elevated me to a much higher plane.

Day # 4: Of 100 Days Of Counting It All Joy.

I will count it all joy because Jesus took the curse and gave me the Blessing.

            ~I Am Walking~

Lord, I am walking in the victory,

That You won for me at Calvary.

I am walking with your belt of truth,

And in this present life I will bear much fruit.
Lord, I m walking in your righteousness,

And with your breastplate I will daily dress.

Lord, I am walking in my gospel shoes,

And I am resting in your perfect peace.
Lord, I am lifting up the shield of faith,

And on your promises I will gladly wait.

Lord, I am walking with my helmet on,

And to every work of darkness, I say be gone!
Lord, I am walking with the two-edged sword,

And I am cutting and destroy every evil cord.

Lord, I am praying daily in the Holy Ghost,

And for more of your Spirit I do hunger and thirst.

I Am Forever Grateful

I will never take for granted what Jesus has done for me! For He has taken my ashes from the pain of old and turn them into the finest gold. He has given me an armor that has withstood the storms and tests of time. He has given me strength and grace for my journey. I pray today that you too will find His strength and grace for your journey.#IAmForeverGrateful!

~ He Has~

He has clothed me in His righteousness,
And given me His very best.
He has clothed me with the belt of truth,
And His infallible word has taken root.
He has clothed me with the Gospel shoes,
And anointed me to share His liberating news.
He has crowned my head with His covenant of peace,
And given me a spiritual position at His Mercy seat.
He has placed a two- edged sword within my mouth,
And there is dynamic power when I speak it out.
He has given me the mighty shield of faith,
And the fruit of patience when I need to wait.
He has given me the power of the Holy Spirit,
The One who has no end and knows no limit!

Wisdom Is Calling

Reason # 11: You can count it all joy because wisdom is calling you.

The uncertainty of our times places tremendous pressure on our lives physically and emotionally. As a result, there is an even greater demand for Godly wisdom and understanding. Indeed, the book of Proverbs begs the question, “Does not wisdom cry out and understanding lift up her voice” (Proverbs 8:1 NKJV).

True wisdom is a valuable treasure that comes only from God. Proverbs says that Godly wisdom will prosper those who love and embrace her. In essence, wisdom will bring the believer into God’s greater blessings. The benefits of Godly wisdom are prudence, understanding, excellent things, truth, avoiding wickedness, righteousness, knowledge, discretion, and above all the fear of the Lord.( Proverbs 8:5-8, 12-13 NKJV).

Wisdom is pleading for us to receive instruction. “Now therefore, listen to me, my children, for blessed are those who keep my ways. Hear instruction and be wise, and do not disdain it. Blessed is the man who listens to me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. For whoever finds me finds life, and obtains favor from the Lord” (Proverbs 8:32-35 NKJV).  Those who have ears to hear let them hear!
